Rose is a large twin room, in the original 15th century wing of the chateau. It was originally a pink bedroom, hence its name, but over the years the decoration has been changed. The name has stayed, but it is now wallpapered in a pale yellow ‘Indienne’ from Cole & Son. The curtains - of pink Sudbury silk - are a nod to its name. It’s furnished with an antique, green painted French bedroom suite.
There is a kettle to make tea in the teapot or to fill the hot water bottle provided. The small, yellow, en suite shower room is dominated by a Venetian mirror.
